what they did was not "stealing" like stealing 100$ from yourteacher.
you can think of it as stealing bread to feed your starving family after a devistating earthquake destroyed your home.
just like how a tree's roots are as deep in the ground as the tree is high, the roots are probally the most important part of the tree. it goes the same with musicians

If they did today what they did in the 60's Led Zep would be sued, but that's the legal business side of music. Creatively, how can you not want to play like Muddy Waters, Wilie Dixon, Robert Johnson, and a ton of others. It's still the best. except for the Jonas Bros. who really rock so goddamn hard!....
